RETURN, CANCELLATION & STORE POLICIES

CANCELLATIONS

Orders may be cancelled within 48 hours of purchase and prior to pickup or delivery.

Approved cancellations are subject to a minimum 10% cancellation/restocking/convenience fee. Additional fees may apply depending on the condition, handling, status, or customization of the merchandise.

After 48 hours, all sales are considered final.

Special orders, custom orders, backorders, floor models, clearance items, discontinued merchandise, AS-IS merchandise, mattresses, adjustable bases, pillows, mattress protectors, and bedding accessories are FINAL SALE and are not eligible for cancellation, return, refund, or exchange.

Estimated arrival dates for special order or backordered merchandise are approximate and subject to manufacturer production schedules, freight delays, inventory availability, weather events, labor shortages, tariffs, and circumstances outside Sunshine Furniture’s control.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

Eligible merchandise may be considered for return or exchange within 48 hours of purchase subject to inspection and approval.

Delivered merchandise must be returned in as-new condition and free from stains, odors, pet hair, smoke exposure, damage, misuse, excessive wear, or missing parts/hardware.

Merchandise removed from original packaging, assembled, installed, slept on, or used may not qualify for return or refund.

All approved returns and exchanges are subject to applicable restocking fees, pickup fees, delivery fees, labor charges, and price differences.

Sunshine Furniture reserves the right to refuse any return or exchange request that does not meet these requirements.

Buyer’s remorse, changes in preference, comfort, color, size, style, firmness, or design preference after delivery do not automatically qualify merchandise for return or refund.

DELIVERED / ASSEMBLED MERCHANDISE

Once merchandise has been delivered, assembled, or accepted by the customer, requests for cancellation, refusal, return, exchange, or reselection are subject to inspection, applicable pickup fees, applicable restocking fees, and product condition requirements.

Refusal of merchandise at delivery does not automatically qualify the transaction for cancellation or refund.

DELIVERY & PICKUP POLICIES

Delivery, setup, assembly, and service fees are non-refundable once services have been scheduled or performed.

Customers are responsible for verifying merchandise dimensions and ensuring products will fit through entryways, stairways, hallways, elevators, doorways, and intended spaces prior to purchase and delivery.

A clear and safe path must be provided for delivery crews at the time of delivery. Sunshine Furniture is not responsible for delays or inability to complete delivery due to obstructed, unsafe, or inaccessible delivery paths.

For safety and liability reasons, Sunshine Furniture delivery personnel are not permitted to move, relocate, remove, or rearrange existing customer furniture, electronics, appliances, décor, or personal belongings.

Customers are responsible for clearing the delivery area prior to arrival.

Refusal of merchandise due to fit, space limitations, delivery access restrictions, or customer preference does not void applicable delivery, pickup, or restocking fees.

Merchandise approved for return, exchange, warranty inspection, reselection, or service requiring pickup from a residence may be subject to additional pickup and labor fees.

Delivery windows are estimated timeframes only and are subject to route changes, traffic conditions, weather, delays at prior stops, vehicle issues, staffing limitations, customer delays, and other unforeseen circumstances beyond Sunshine Furniture’s control.

Sunshine Furniture is not responsible for delays occurring outside estimated delivery windows, and delivery fees will not be refunded due to such delays.

Customers are responsible for inspecting merchandise at the time of pickup or delivery and noting any visible concerns at that time whenever possible.

Claims regarding visible damage, missing parts, or incorrect merchandise should be reported promptly.

Sunshine Furniture reserves the right to refuse service, delivery, pickup, returns, exchanges, or entry into unsafe, unsanitary, hostile, or inaccessible environments.

CUSTOMER PICKUP / STORAGE

Merchandise not picked up or scheduled for delivery within 30 days of arrival may experience inventory availability limitations.

Customers delaying pickup or delivery for extended periods of time may experience manufacturer discontinuations, inventory changes, or delays outside Sunshine Furniture’s control.

Please contact the store if additional time is needed for pickup or delivery scheduling.

NATURAL MATERIALS & DISPLAY VARIATIONS

Due to lighting, photography, manufacturing processes, natural materials, fabric dye lots, wood grain patterns, leather characteristics, and monitor/device settings, merchandise may vary slightly from floor samples, online images, advertisements, or previous purchases.

Natural variations in wood grain, texture, leather, fabric, marble, stone, or color tone are not considered defects.

Floor samples may soften, relax, or slightly change in appearance over time due to showroom use and lighting conditions.

Newly manufactured merchandise may feel firmer or appear slightly different than showroom models.

MATTRESSES & BEDDING

For sanitary and health reasons, mattresses, mattress protectors, pillows, bedding accessories, and similar sleep products are FINAL SALE once opened, removed from packaging, or delivered.

Comfort preference does not qualify as a manufacturer defect.

Mattress Comfort Exchanges / Sleep Guarantees

Select mattress manufacturers may offer a one-time Sleep Guarantee or comfort exchange program subject to the specific manufacturer’s terms, conditions, and eligibility requirements.

To qualify for any applicable Sleep Guarantee or comfort exchange program: a mattress protector must be purchased and used beginning on the original delivery date, the mattress must remain free from stains, damage, odors, abuse, or unsanitary conditions, and the mattress must be used in the customer’s home for a minimum of 30 days before any comfort exchange request may be considered. Additional manufacturer requirements, exchange fees, delivery fees, pickup fees, restocking fees, or price differences may apply.

Sleep Guarantees and comfort exchanges apply to comfort preference only and do not constitute refunds.

Not all mattresses qualify for Sleep Guarantee programs.

FLOOR MODELS / CLEARANCE / AS-IS ITEMS

Floor models, clearance merchandise, discontinued merchandise, closeout merchandise, and AS-IS merchandise are sold in their current condition and are FINAL SALE.

Floor models, clearance items, closeout merchandise, and AS-IS merchandise are sold without warranty coverage.

Customers are encouraged to inspect all floor model and clearance merchandise prior to purchase.

Clearance, closeout, and limited-quantity merchandise is available while supplies last and cannot be guaranteed until paid in full.

PROMOTIONS, DISCOUNTS & COUPONS

Promotional offers, coupons, rebates, financing incentives, package discounts, “dollars-off” promotions, clearance markdowns, and special sale offers may not be combined or stacked.

Sunshine Furniture reserves the right to limit, modify, or discontinue promotional offers at any time without prior notice.

THIRD-PARTY RESELECTIONS / STORE CREDITS

Store credits, Guardsman reselections, warranty replacements, or third-party protection plan authorizations are intended to resolve a covered claim and are not considered new retail promotional purchases.

Promotional offers, coupons, rebates, financing incentives, package discounts, delivery specials, “dollars-off” promotions, and other sale incentives may not apply to reselection or store credit transactions.

Store credits and reselection authorizations are non-transferable, non-refundable, and have no cash value.

WARRANTIES & SERVICE

Manufacturer warranties are administered according to the individual manufacturer’s warranty guidelines and timelines.

Sunshine Furniture acts as a liaison between the customer and manufacturer for warranty-related claims when applicable.

Warranty claims, repairs, replacements, or reselections are subject to manufacturer and/or third-party provider approval.

Unauthorized repairs or modifications may void warranty or protection plan coverage.

FINANCING

Financing approvals, terms, promotional offers, deferred interest programs, lease-to-own programs, and payment options are subject to the individual lender’s approval and terms.

Sunshine Furniture is not responsible for lender decisions, account terms, interest charges, late fees, or financing provider policies.

VERBAL REPRESENTATIONS & COMMUNICATIONS

Sunshine Furniture employees, sales associates, delivery personnel, and service representatives are not authorized to alter, waive, modify, or override store policies.

Verbal statements, text messages, emails, or informal communications are not binding and do not alter Sunshine Furniture’s written store policies.

PAYMENT DISPUTES

Customers agree to work directly with Sunshine Furniture to resolve any concerns regarding merchandise, delivery, service, warranty claims, or billing concerns prior to initiating chargebacks or payment disputes.

REFUNDS

Once a refund has been approved and processed, please allow approximately 7–10 business days for the refund to be credited back to the original method of payment, subject to banking or financing institution processing times.

Refunds will only be issued back to the original method of payment used at the time of purchase.

Sunshine Furniture does not issue cash refunds.

IMPORTANT CUSTOMER ACKNOWLEDGMENT

By signing the sales invoice, the customer acknowledges receipt, review, and acceptance of Sunshine Furniture’s Return Policies, Cancellation Policies, Delivery Policies, Warranty Policies, Special Order Policies, Backorder Policies, Guardsman/Reselection Policies, and Store Policies including applicable fees, promotional exclusions, and final sale exclusions.
